Sublime Organic Yarn 30% off for Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! Today and tomorrow, Sublime Organic Cotton yarn is 30% off, just $5.95 a skein (regularly $8.50.)

At SuperCrafty.com, I'm trying to do what I can to reduce, reuse and recycle. In shipping products to you, I do not include a paper invoice in my packages, just a small 1/12 page thank you slip. With the thousands of orders that I process a year, this saves a lot of paper waste...and trees! (If you ever need an invoice, you can request it and I will email it to you.) Most packages are shipped in plastic mailers, which are recyclable. When I do ship in boxes, I reuse ones in which yarn companies send product to me. I pad those packages by reusing tissue paper I've received from gifts, and any bubble wrap or peanuts I've received in other packages.

Happy Earth Day!

PS: Most colors of Misti Alpaca Chunky are on clearance for just $9.99 - just marked down today!

Initial Report from TNNA

Today I went to TNNA in Long Beach, a.k.a The Big Yarn Show. Faith joined me and we had a fabulous time. How can two yarnophiles not be blissfully happy amongst so many gorgeous yarns? I will have more to report after tomorrow on what's new and what I ordered for SuperCrafty.com, but in the meantime I have one huge thing to shout from the hilltops: KOIGU!

For 4 years I have gone to their booth and asked if they were accepting new customers. Today, the answer was yes. It will be 8 months (yes, that is August) before I will get my wonderful 25 colors of Koigu KPPPM yarn, since each batch is handcrafted by some very friendly Canadians, but I will get it!

In years past, I have not had much to report in the way of trends. Last year it was felted everything - still some of that. This season I saw 2 huge ones: organic cotton yarn and sock yarn. I will be ordering both.

More later; I promise!
